At the heart of our operation are our silos. They contain systems unique to the industry for storage and the discharge of material. Our investment in cutting-edge storage capabilities combined with unique extracting technology provides industry leading efficiency.
Our FFS packing system is one of the fastest in the industry. Bags are filled using technology that ensures the bags become airless before they collated and moved toward palletisation. Then the material is robotically stretch wrapped and moved directly into storage or transport.
Advanced loading and weigh bridge management systems provides quick turnaround. A designated one-way route around the site enables transport to be admitted, weighed and loaded in a swift and efficient manner. Newport (our sister company) are one of the largest bulk tanker haulage users in the UK, with over 350,000 metric tons of distribution. We manage the inventory and delivery planning utilising SAP, with possibilities to link into customers ERP systems.
The facility has the capacity to supply over 800,000 tonnes a year, with further expansion and diversification possible.
The state of the art facility, can pneumatically discharge up to 25,000 mt vessels, & a discharge rate of up to 450 metric tons per hour. 45,000 metric tons of Silo storage is planned, in addition to packing, blending and milling services.
The possibilities are endless. We have considered having driverless vehicles, cloud-based ERP systems and fully automated loading.
